Journal L (Reading Garden Number2)

I went to a library in our college, and I read three English books. I introduce my favorite two books of the three. First, I read Beauty and the Beast. It was written by Louie Stowell and published by Roehampton University. The reason why I chose this book is that I know this story and like it. This story is about the Beast’s love. The Beast lives at a castle which is in a forest. He is look like very scary monster, so anyone does not approach him. One day, a man who has three daughters lost his way and wandered into the castle. What’s more, he was caught by the Beast. Therefore, his youngest daughter who knew it acted as a substitute of her father in order to rescue him. Then, the Beast fell in love with her, and he asked her to marry me. However, she has never said “Yes”. One day, she asked him to want to go home, and he said that she had to promise him she will return in two weeks. Two weeks later, when she was going to go back to the castle, her sisters stopped her from going back there. She went back after she was distressed. However, when she went back, he died. She felt sad very much. She embraced him and kissed him tenderly. Then, he was surrounded by light… When I read this, I felt my heart was beating so fast and I was bubbling with expectation. Also, I felt very happy. Please try this. Next, I read Stories of Snowmen. It was written by Russel Punter and published by Roehampton University. This book is about a boy and a snowman story. One day, a boy made a snowman and built a huge bonfire. Next day, however, the bonfire disappeared. A boy felt it was strange, and he got up at midnight and look at the outside. Then, a snowman moved!! I thought that this story is very interesting. A snowman is very unusual and cute. I like this story. Please read this too!

Journal K (Writing Class Response)

I write about my response of a writing class. First, I enjoyed studying in writing class with my friends and Mr. Waterman last year. In particular, I enjoyed various games. I like English games. The best game which I think is game to produce products because I enjoyed thinking of interesting products from limited cards. Also, I enjoyed Christmas class. We wrote Christmas cards for my friends. I was very glad. In addition, we listened to Christmas songs. When I listened to them, I was bubbling with expectation. While, writing Paragraphs is hard for me. That’s because it has a lot of rules. For example, we must write 80 to 100 words, and we must indent the first line. Also, the theme of Paragraphs is difficult for me to write. However, I was very glad when I got a good point. Next, I thought that Mr. Waterman’s homework is difficult and too many for me. The most difficult homework which I think is Journals! That’s because we do not get 7 points if we do not write 280 words in Journals. It is very difficult. I was troubled very much what I should write. I spent many time to do this homework, so I regret that I should have begun this homework earlier. However, this homework was very good for me. That’s because I could know many English words and expression. I think that a writing class is very interesting and useful. Mr. Waterman taught us many things. For example, I learned about a rule of the English grammar and a lot of English expression. Thank you very much to teach us English. I hold out a writing class next year too!!

I borrowed three books from the English Reading Garden, and read them. I introduce two favorite books of the three. First, I read The Little Mermaid. It was written by Hans Christian Andersen, and published by Random House. The reason why I chose this book is that I have ever watched this story on TV. This story is very interesting and sad, so I like this story. This story is about one little mermaid’s love. I explain this story. The heroine of this story lived the bottom of the sea with the Sea King who is her father, her grandmother, and five old sisters. She looked like the loveliest of all! In addition, she had the most beautiful singing voice on land or sea. She had a longing for the world of humans above the sea. That’s why she went to the world when she was a fifteen years old. And then, she had fallen love with a prince. She wanted to be a human, and marry him, so instead of getting legs she was robbed her beautiful voice by the Sea Witch. She can become a human, however hers love was hopeless. When I read this story, I felt sad, because hers love didn’t realize though she became a human losing her voice. Also, I thought that she was pure and pretty very much! That’s because, she loved the prince with all hers heart. That’s why please read this book!! Second, I read Wait and See. It was written by Julia Wall and Heath McKenzie, and published by Thomson. This story is about twins’ daily. There are twins. Their name is Zak and Adam. They are very very alike, so their family and friends don’t distinguish them. They hate it. Therefore they were going to change appearance to be distinguished. However, they didn’t have a meaning, because they changed in the same way. This story is interesting very much. I thought that twins are very alike not only appearances but also their insides. Please read this book too!

Journal I

I explain that how to make an original rice ball of my house. The original rice boll is called “Omuoni” in my family. It is a rice boll in the style of an omelet containing fried rice. I like it very very much! It is very delicious. When I was a junior high school student, my mother often put this rice boll in my picnic lunch. Therefore, this rice boll is taste of my memory. I introduce how to cook it. First, I make ketchup rice. Things to prepare are rice, wieners, a corn, a carrot, a green pepper, an onion, salt and pepper, and ketchup. My family’ ketchup rice don’t use a chicken. I use wieners instead. Then, I cut wieners, a carrot, a green pepper, and an onion finely. Next, I fry them. The point is that I fry from things which do not burn. Next, I season with ketchup and salt and pepper. After that, I make an omelet. The materials are eggs, sugar, salt, and mayonnaise. I mix them and bake it. The point is that my family use mayonnaise in an omelet. By doing so it, an omelet is soft very much. In addition, I have to bake this omelet widely and thinly to be able to wrap ketchup rice. Finally, I wrap ketchup rice with an omelet. And then, I wrap a little ketchup with an omelet. Please be careful that do not tear an omelet. If you can not wrap well, please use a rap! The original rice boll of my house is completion in this. It is very easy to make it. Today, I make it with oneself. Also, I bring it in our college as my lunch. Therefore, please try cooking the original rice boll.

I am salesperson. My first customer is fortune teller. First, I recommend “blanket seat.” This product looks like a chair with a blanket. I explain how to use this. First, you sit on the seat. Next, you put a blanket which the chair with to your knees. If you have this product, you don’t feel that it is not cold when you work outside. Next, I recommend “belly glasses.” This product looks like a common glasses. However, this product isn’t common glasses! If you put on the glasses, you can see in the belly of a person. This product brings you some advantages! When you put on the glasses, you can see the health condition of in the belly of your customers and may be thanked your customers. Therefore, your customers will increase more and more. My second customer is Ninja. First, I recommend “pocket blanket.” This product looks like a blanket. The size of the blanket is normal. However, this blanket can put into the pocket when you fold it! I explain how to use this. First, you put on the pocket which the blanket put into in your clothes. Next, you take out the blanket from the pocket when you use this. Finally, you fold the blanket pocket size and it put into the pocket when you finish using this. If you must sleep by work outside on a cold day, you can sleep comfortably when you have this product. Next, I recommend “exercise book.” This product looks like a normal book. The contents of knowledge of Ninja and a way of ascetic practices is written on this book. If you have and use this product, you become a good Ninja!!

I am going to write about my memorable experience. When I was a junior high school student, I experienced that made me feel proud. Our junior high school has a sketch contest once a year. We go out of our school and paint a picture of our town. A teacher of the art class examines sketches which we drew. Also, the teacher gives a prize to an excellent picture in pictures which we drew. In addition, the prize is classified into the highest award, a gold award, a silver award and a bronze award. When I was a first grade junior high school student, I got a bronze award. I drew the Kikuchi city then. It was difficult for me to draw cityscape. In particular, I felt that it was difficult to draw a picture of buildings in perspective. However I am hard very much．Also, I was very happy to get it. When I was a second grade junior high school student, I got a gold award. I was glad and surprised. Then, I drew the Kikuchi Shrine. Drawing a shrine is difficult very much. That’s because, the composition of a shrine is complicated very much. In addition, it was difficult to give the hue of the tree with paint. However, I did my best. When I was a third grade junior high school student, I got the highest award!! I was surprised very very very much! Also, I nearly wept for joy! Then, I drew the mountains of Kikuchi. I enjoyed drawing a picture very much and did my best so that the regret was not left, because this was the last sketch contest. This experience gave confidence to me, and made me feel proud very much. I became to like drawing picture by this experience.

Journal F

I am going to write about some people who I admire or respect. First, I write about my best friend. Her dream is to be a singer in the future, so she has practiced singing a song and dancing very hard since she was young. In addition, she did her best not only singing a song and dancing but also studying hard. I think that she is persistent very much! In addition, she never said a complaint and a grumble when practice of singing and dancing did not go well and she was facing hardship. She always has positive way of thinking. When I was depressed, she listened to my heart every time and she gave me positive words. Thanks to her, I was able to do my best positively every time. I like her very much, and I respect that she is persistent and she always has positive way of thinking. I want to be persistent and have positive way of thinking like her. Second, I write about my friend of my part time job. She has oneself well. Also, she can say “it is wrong” if it was wrong. When I did a wrong thing, she warned me properly. In addition, she is going to get over her bad habit obediently if she is pointed out it by another person. I think that it is not easily possible to listen to a person’s advice obediently. I think that I can not listen to a person’s advice obediently like her if I am pointed out my bad habit by another person. That’s why I think that she is great! I like her who is obedient and has oneself, and I respect her very much. I want to be a person like her.
